The OP240A is a Plastic Infrared Emitting Diode with dome lens and wide irradiance pattern. The OP240 series high intensity gallium aluminium arsenide infrared emitting diode is suited for use as a PCB mounted slotted switch or an easy mount PCB interrupter. It is suitable for use in space-limited applications, PCBoard mounted slotted switch, PCBoard interrupter.
