Product Overview
KA431SAMFTF is a programmable shunt regulator. It is a three-terminal adjustable regulator series with guaranteed thermal stability over the operating temperature range. The output voltage can be set to any value between VREF (approximately 2.5V) and 36V with two external resistors. This device has a typical dynamic output impedance of 0.2. Active output circuitry provides a sharp turn-on characteristic, making this device an excellent replacement for zener diodes in many applications.
- Programmable output voltage to 36V, sink current capability range from 1.0 to 100mA
- Dynamic impedance is 0.15 ohm typical at (VKA = VREF, IKA = 1 to 100mA, f ≥ 1.0KHz)
- Equivalent full range temperature coefficient is 50ppm/°C typical
- Temperature compensated for operation over full rated operating temperature range
- Low output noise voltage, fast turn on response
- Reference input voltage is 2.495V typical at (VKA = VREF, IKA = 10mA)
- Reference input current is 1.5µA typical at (IKA = 10mA, R1 = 10K, R2 = ∞)
- Cathode voltage is 36V maximum, cathode current is 100mA maximum
- Operating temperature range from -25°C to +85°C
- SOT23 package, 1% output voltage tolerance
