Product Overview
FUSB252UMX is a Type-C CC with a high-speed digital (HSD) port protection switch. It is an integrated port protection switch for USB Type-C® applications. This product will protect HSD+/- and CCx pins when stressed with voltages upto 20V. Over-voltage protection (OVP) at 5.8V typical will protect the system for electrical overstress (EOS) damage. With a fully integrated USB 2.0 switch for HSD+/-, this product can be easily integrated into existing solutions. The HSD switch can pass USB 2.0 signals with a bandwidth of 1GHz to maintain signal integrity and eye compliance. The CC switch has a very low RON of 0.3 ohm to minimize signal attenuation. It also provides dead battery support per the type-C specification additional features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO) and thermal shutdown. It is used in applications such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

- Response time is 0.5µs typical at (IOUT = 0.2A, CL = 200pF, VICCx 5V to 6V)
- Propagation delay is 0.25ns typical at (RL = 50 ohm, CL = 5pF)
- 1400MHz typical -3dB bandwidth at (RL = 50 ohm, CL = 0pF)
- Total jitter is 200ps typical at (RL = 50 ohm, CL = 5pF, tR = tF = 500ps (10-90%) at 480Mbps)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 16-lead UMLP package
