MAX206EEAG+

MAX206EEAG+ is a ±15kV ESD-protected, 5V RS-232 transceiver. This transceiver with high ±15kV ESD HBM protection and integrated charge pump circuitry for single +5V supply operation. The drivers and receivers for all ten devices meet all EIA/TIA232E and CCITT V.28 specifications at data rates up to 120Kbps when loaded. It is used in applications such as battery-powered equipment, hand-held equipment, and portable diagnostics equipment.

• Shutdown supply current is 1µA typical at (TA = +25°C)
• Input pullup current is 15µA typical at (TA = +25°C)
• Maximum data rate is 120Kbps min at (RL = 3Kohm to 7Kohm, CL = 50pF to 1000pF)
• Transition-region slew rate is 6V/µs typ at (TA = +25°C, VCC = 5V, RL = 3Kohm to 7Kohm)
• Transmitter propagation delay is 2µs typical at (RL = 3Kohm, CL = 2500pF, all transmitters loaded)
• Output leakage current is ±10µA maximum at (TA = +25°C)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
• 24-pin SSOP package
