Q2687RD intelligent embedded module supports quad band data connectivity up to EDGE. It's backwards compatible with the Q2686, and forwards compatible with 3G Q26 Extreme, which all run embedded M2M applications on an programmable ARM9 32bit processor at 104MHz. Equipped with up to 44 GPIOs, the Q2687RD is especially suited to applications which require a high number of electronic connections. It also supports a new parallel data bus for interfacing to displays and external memory.
