The MAX5533EUA+ is a dual, ultra low power, 12bit voltage output digital to analogue converter (DAC) in 8 pin µMAX package. This device offers rail to rail buffered voltage outputs. It operates from 1.8V to 5.5V supply and consumes less than 5μA supply current makes the device suitable for low power and low voltage applications. A shutdown mode reduces overall current including reference input current to 0.18μA. Upon power-up, the MAX5533 outputs are driven to zero scale providing additional safety for applications that drive valves or for other transducers that need to be off during power-up. The MAX5533 contains precision internal reference and provides buffered external reference output with unity gain DAC outputs. The device is used in automatic trimming and calibration in factory or field, programmable voltage and current sources, remote data conversion and monitoring, chemical sensor cell bias for gas monitors and programmable LCD bias application.

- Power supply rejection ratio of 85dB (1.8V ≤ VDD ≤ 5.5V)
- Internal reference sources 8mA of current
- Zero scale outputs enable glitch free power-up
