The MAX16125WTDP29+ is a dual pushbutton controller in tiny 6 bump WLP package. This pushbutton controller with single-supply monitors monitor pushbuttons and generate a hard reset signal if the buttons are pushed and held for a setup delay. It has one manual reset input (MR- complementary), a reset output (RESET- complementary) and a soft reset output (SRESET) which mirrors the state of the input. This device makes it easy to 'hide' the hard reset function in an existing pushbutton, such as a soft power switch. It operates from 1.6V to 5.5V and consumes a quiescent current of only 5µA at 3V. It has a pin-programmable or resistor adjustable setup delay. It is used in ebook readers, portable/battery-powered equipment and glucose monitors/patient monitors.
