The MAX4246AKA+T is an ultra small, low power, dual rail to rail I/O operational amplifier (op-amp) with disable function in 8 pin SOT-23 package. It is designed for low voltage and single supply operation. The input stage consists of composite NPN and PNP differential stages which operate together to provide a common mode range extending to both supply rails. This low cost op-amp draws only 320μA of quiescent current and operates from single 2.5V to 5.5V supply (or dual ±1.25V to ±2.75V supplies). The MAX4246 is unity gain stable with 1MHz gain bandwidth product and driving capacitive loads up to 470pF. The wide operating temperature range makes this device suitable for use in variety of harsh environments. It is used in single supply zero crossing detectors, instruments and terminals, electronic ignition modules, infrared receivers and sensor signal detection.

- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- 110dB open loop gain with 2Kohm load
- No phase inversion for overdriven inputs
- 0.01% THD with 100Kohm load
- Slew rate of 0.4V/μs
- Input offset voltage of ±0.4mV
- Input bias current of ±10nA and input offset current of ±1nA
- PSRR of 90dB at 2.5V ≤ VDD ≤ 5.5V and CMRR of 80dB at VSS - 0.1V ≤ VCM ≤ VDD + 0.1V
- Large signal voltage gain of 120dB (VSS + 0.05V ≤ VOUT ≤ VDD - 0.05V, RL = 100Kohm)
