The ADP1761ACPZ-R7 is a 1A, low VIN, low noise, CMOS low dropout (LDO) linear regulator in 16 pin LFCSP package. It is designed to operate from a single input supply with an input voltage as low as 1.10V without the requirement of an external bias supply to increase efficiency and provide up to 1A of output current. The low 30mV typical dropout voltage at a 1A load allows ADP1761 to operate with a small headroom while maintaining regulation and providing better efficiency. The ADP1761 is optimized for stable operation with small 10µF ceramic output capacitors. The device delivers optimal transient performance with minimal board area. It has an externally programmable soft start time by connecting a capacitor to the SS pin. Short circuit and thermal overload protection circuits prevent damage in adverse conditions.

- Optimized for small 10µF ceramic capacitors, power good indicator & precision enable
- Low input voltage supply range from 1.10V to 1.98V, no external bias supply required
- Ultralow noise of 2µVrms at 100Hz to 100KHz
- Noise spectral density of 4nV/√Hz at 10KHz and 3nV/√Hz at 100KHz
- ±1.5% fixed output voltage accuracy over line, load and temperature
- Operating supply current of 4.5mA typical at no load and shutdown current of 2µA (EN = GND)
- Excellent PSRR performance (67dB at 10KHz at 1A load, 51dB typical at 100KHz at 1A load)
- Excellent load/line transient response
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
